Easter egg hunts and more on tap in Palm Beach
Venues and churches throughout town are hopping with preparations in anticipation of their annual Easter celebrations and egg hunts.
Festivities get started this weekend and continue through Easter Sunday.

Bethesda-by-the-Sea
The Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea will have its Spring Carnival and Easter Egg Hunt from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Activities include egg hunts, bounce houses, carnival games, crafts and hot-dog lunches. Church Mouse items and Flower Guild arrangements also will be for sale.
The hunt will be divided by age groups as follows: 11 a.m., 2 years old and younger; 11:30 a.m., 3 to 4 years old; noon, 5 to 7 years old; 12:30 p.m., 8 to 10 years old.

St. Edward Catholic Church
The church's Easter Egg Hunt and Brunch will take place after the 9 a.m. Mass on Sunday. It will include a visit from the Easter Bunny.

Society of the Four Arts
The Four Arts Children's Library's Preschool Story Time on April 6 will be themed "Peter Cottontail Day."
Activities for children 4 and younger will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the Philip Hulitar Sculpture Garden, 100 Four Arts Plaza.
Town's Spring Celebration
Children in four age groups (2 and younger; 3 to 4; 5 to 7; and 8 to 11) are invited to participate in the egg hunt during the Palm Beach Recreation Department’s annual Spring Celebration on April 8.
The event will be on the athletic field at the Mandel Recreation Center, 340 Seaview Ave., and will be split into two time slots: 10 to 10:30 a.m. and 11 to 11:30 a.m. with a maximum of 30 kids per age group per time slot. There will be prizes, light refreshments and photo opportunities.
Reservations are required by emailing recreation@townofpalmbeach.com, with names and ages of each child. Participants should arrive 10 minutes before their scheduled time slot to get checked in.
Flagler Museum
On April 8, the grounds of Whitehall will become a magical place containing hundreds of eggs for the finding, fun activities and a visit from the Easter Bunny.
Treat-filled eggs will be hidden on the museum's lawn and in the Cocoanut Grove. Areas will be sectioned off by age group. Easter-themed games and face-painting will be available during the first hour of the event, as well as photo ops with the the big guy himself. In addition, each child will receive a wooden Easter egg as a souvenir.
Gates open at 9 a.m. for the 10 a.m. hunt. General admission tickets are $40 for adults and $25 for children (16 and younger).

Royal Poinciana Plaza
The shopping plaza's popular Royal Easter Affair will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 8. The egg hunt portion is open to children ages 4 to 12; pre-registration is required.
At check-in, children will receive a canvas tote bag, fuzzy bunny ears, and a Treats & Treasures map marking locations for egg-hunting. The day also includes a string quartet, DJ, photo opportunities, and Easter activities by Alice + Olivia, Hill House Home, LoveShackFancy, La Vie Style House, minnow, and more.

Royal Poinciana Chapel
On April 9, a Children’s Egg Extravaganza on the Great Lawn will follow the 11 a.m. Easter service.
