As King Charles's coronation nears, one big question remains on everyone's minds: Will Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attend?

The latest to weigh in on their attendance is Oprah, a friend of the Sussexes. She appeared on CBS Mornings today with her pal Gayle King to talk about the topic.

"It's been reported that Harry and Meghan have received an invitation to the coronation," King asked Oprah. "Do you think they should go? Do you think they should not go? Is it something you'd like to comment on?"

Oprah responded, "I think they should do what they feel is best for them and for their family. That's what I think. That's what the bottom line — it comes down to: What do you feel like is the best thing for you?" Even if Oprah does know what Meghan and Harry are thinking regarding whether or not they'll go, she didn't say. She also added, "They haven't asked me my opinion."

Earlier this month, a spokesperson told Town & Country, "I can confirm The Duke has recently received email correspondence from His Majesty's office regarding the coronation. An immediate decision on whether The Duke and Duchess will attend will not be disclosed by us at this time." No timeline has been given for a decision, or if Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet will join their parents in the UK for the coronation. King Charles's coronation falls on Archie's birthday.

Earlier this year, Prince Harry told ITV's Tom Bradby, "There's a lot that can happen between now and [the coronation]. But, the door is always open. The ball is in their court." He continues, "There's a lot to be discussed and I really hope that they're willing to sit down and talk about it."
