OPSWA releases All-Ohio Division III and IV boys basketball teams

The Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association released its selections for the All-Ohio Division III and IV boys basketball teams on Wednesday.

Zane Trace recorded the most players among local Division III teams posted to the All-Ohio teams after having two players named to the list. Xzander Ream earned the highest distinction among local Division III players after being named to the All-Ohio Second Team. Ream led the Scioto Valley Conference with 21.1 points per game and in made 3-pointers. He was joined teammate Nalin Robinson, who was given distinction as an Honorable Mention.

Adena and Westfall each had one player named to the All-Ohio Division III list. Joedy Ater and Casey Cline represented Adena and Westfall respectively after being named as Honorable Mentions. Cline averaged 16 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game for the Mustangs throughout his senior season. Ater ranked fourth in the SVC for scoring after averaging 15.9 points per game.

Dax Estep represented Paint Valley in Division IV after being named to the All-Ohio Third Team. Estep was second in the SVC in scoring with 18.6 points per game, and he was also the conference's leading rebounder after averaging 12.7 rebounds per game during his senior season.
