A new option for tasting menu dining in Charlotte will be available soon
L’Ostrica, which opened its Chef’s Market earlier this year, is now taking reservations for its tasting menu experience starting Nov. 1.
The Montford neighborhood concept from owners Eric Ferguson and Cat Carter will feature eight to 10 courses that highlight seasonal fare. Optional wine and spirit-free pairings will be available, as well as cocktails, aperitifs and digestifs curated by general manager Stephanie Andrews.
The space features custom-built furniture and chef’s presentation table, designed to create an inviting, intimate setting.
Dinner service will start at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday, with the last seating at 8:30 p.m. Reservations are required, but a limited number of walk-in seats will be available at the bar.
L’Ostrica’s other options include:
Chef’s Market
The Chef’s Market, open Wednesday-Saturday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., offers a curated assortment of seasonal, house-made items including fresh pastas and sauces, snacks, salads, dips, soups, sandwiches and sweets.
Wine, non-alcoholic beverage selections and other specialty goods are also available.
Sundays at L’Ostrica
A casual, themed menu called Sunday Supper is now available every Sunday. Each week’s theme will be announced a few days in advance, with tickets available on Tock. Sunday brunch is in the works, as well.
