The Orange County Convention Center is breaking new ground in security and robotics.

Convention center officials announced they will be using an autonomous security robot to help the center’s security team.

Officials said this machine will help increase surveillance at the convention center.

They claim they are the first convention center to use an autonomous security robot.

It will be called “B-Bot,” thanks to a third grader at Sand Lake Elementary School who won a naming contest.
