Orange County firefighters battle house fire near Winter Park

Orange County Fire Rescue teams responded to a house fire in a Fairview Shores neighborhood.

Firefighters said there were reports of heavy smoke and fire when crews arrived at the home near West Fairbanks Avenue on Monday morning.

Orange County Fire Rescue released an update that crews put out the fire and have notified the state fire marshal and the Red Cross.

Maitland Fire Rescue also helped battle the fire and conducted the initial search.

No injuries have been reported.

Investigators have not said what caused the fire.
