Orange deputies investigating fatal Apopka shooting of woman found in car
A woman was found dead inside a car Sunday afternoon in Apopka, an apparent victim of a shooting according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
The vehicle was discovered shortly after 1:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Ashville Street. The woman has not been identified, but the agency said she is in her 20s.
“Detectives do not believe this was a random act,” the Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. “The investigation is still in its early stages.”
