Orcas Surprise Workers at Vancouver's Coal Harbor
A pair of orcas surprised workers at Vancouver’s Coal Harbor on October 9 when they surfaced near seaplane docks.
This footage by Robert Johnson shows the marine mammals surfacing, with one coming within meters of a floating dock.
“I have never seen an orca, let alone two, in Coal Harbour in the three years I’ve been employed at Harbour Air,” Johnson told Canada’s Global News. “I knew whales were great big creatures, but one seemed to span the length of our seaplanes.” Credit: Robert Johnson via Storyful
