ORCMA to play movie hits in season finale

The Oak Ridge Civic Music Association (ORCMA) presents the Oak Ridge Chorus in “The Big Screen on the Big Stage,” 6 p.m. May 20 at St. Mary’s Parish of Oak Ridge. The concert will be in the Family Life Center, 327 Vermont Ave. (NOTE: This is a venue change.)

Tickets are $15. Admission for young adults (ages 19-29) is $5. Youths 18 and younger receive free admission but need a ticket. Visit https://orcma.org/big-screen-big-stage for more information and to purchase tickets.

Movie hits from “Yesterday” to “The Lion King” will be sung in this final concert for ORCMA’s Choral Director Brenda Luggie. The concert will feature guest singers from Roane State Community College Concert Choir and youths from Sound Company Children’s Choir, directed by Hannah Strong with Michelle Goethert on piano.
