Order up! Grab Thanksgiving feast to-go this year at these Montgomery-area restaurants

Do you have hungry Thanksgiving guests to feed, and don't want to give your kitchen a workout? The River Region has several options for making this Thanksgiving as easy as ordering up a feast.

  • PepperTree Steaks N’ Wines, 8101a Vaughn Road, Montgomery, will offer a Thanksgiving dinner to go with a whole smoked or fried turkey, or a spiral ham, plus cornbread dressing and sweet potato casserole that feeds 8 people for $115. Call 334-523-8005

  • Queen Meats, 207 Highway 82, Prattville, will offer a fresh Thanksgiving dinner to go with fried turkey, 2 large home-cooked casseroles (hash browns, green beans, sweet potatoes, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, dressing), a dozen dinner rolls and one homemade dessert (banana pudding or cheesecake) for $179. Casseroles are also available individually for $33, deserts are $18, rolls are $6.99 a dozen. On the meat side, fried whole turkeys are $90, and a glazed spiral ham is $80.   • Must Stop Cafe, 60 Village Loop in Wetumpka, is having a Thanksgiving sale for to go pickups for cornbread dressing ($19.27 small, $34.86 large), green bean casserole ($19.27 small, $34.86 large), and squash casserole ($23.86 small, $41.29 large). Small feeds 9-10, and large feeds 18-20. Pick up Nov. 23 and 24 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. call 334-567-9955 to reserve your order.

  • Martin's Restaurant, 1796 Carter Hill Road, Montgomery, has uncooked homemade dressing in a variety of sizes for guests to take home - from a gallon that feeds 16-20 people for $40 to a pint for 1-2 people that's $10. Brown and giblet gravy is avilable by the $18 quart or $10 pint. Sweet potato casserole is $32. Homemade pies are $23. Homemade cornbread is $10 a dozen. You can also get a gallon of tea or lemonade for $8. 334-256-1767.

  • Jan's Beach House Grill, 850 Eastern Blvd., Montgomery, has a holiday catering menu with sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, pineapple casserole, corn casserole, cornbread dressing (each $30), dressing with giblet gravy and bread pudding with bourbon sauce or a non-alcoholic sauce (each $35). Food comes in a 13x11 inch pan with 20-25 servings per pan. Turkeys and hams are also available, but price depends on size. All orders can be cooked or raw, and must be ordered with 3 days notice.   • Filet & Vine, 431 Cloverdale Road, Montgomery, has a special holiday to go menu that guests can order to go from. Deadline for ordering is Nov. 22 at 5 p.m., and these prepaid orders must be picked up by Nov. 24 at 5 p.m. The menu includes double smoked ham – shank or butt half $39, beef tenderloin at market price, boneless turkey breasts smoked or roasted $69, bone-in turkey breasts smoked, roasted or fried $39, and whole turkeys smoked, roasted or fried $49. Casseroles include cornbread dressing, sweet potato, squash, corn pudding, macaroni and cheese, green bean and new potato, in sizes to serve 4-6 people $12.99 or 10-12 people $24.99. Giblet gravy, horsey sauce, cornbread and rolls are also available. Desserts that serve 10-12 people are peach cobbler, apple cobbler, blackberry cobbler, cherry cobbler ($24.99 each) and bread pudding with bourbon sauce ($39.99). 334-262-8463

  • Red's Little School House, 20 Gardner Road, Grady, Alabama. Red's will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for dine in or takeout. They will also be offering to-go meals (raw or cooked). They must be picked up by Nov. 24. . Call 334-584-7955 for more information.
