LAKE COUNTY, IL — The Lake County Sheriff's office released a weekly arrest summary detailing crimes reported on May 11 through May 17. Among the crimes reported include:

Domestic battery

Jonathan A. Vivaldo, 21, from the 26800 block of N. Brooks Road in unincorporated Wauconda, was arrested on May 11 at the same address on accusations of domestic battery. His bail is listed by the sheriff's office as $20,000 — recognizance — and his court date is scheduled for July 13.

Warrant Arrest: Violation of order of protection

Kevin M. Sherin, 49, from the 1200 block of Holly Court in Antioch, was arrested on Wednesday at the same address on a warrant for violating an order of protection. Sherin’s bail is listed by the sheriff’s office as $35,000, and his court date is scheduled for July 16.

Warrant arrest: Escape, domestic battery

Amia K. Moore, 23, from the 1500 block of 27th Street in Zion, was arrested Thursday in the 10000 block of Ames Avenue in Beach Park on a warrant for escape and domestic battery. Moore faces charges of resisting arrest and obstructing identification. Moore’s bail is listed by the sheriff’s office as $100,000, and their court date is scheduled for Wednesday.

Curtis C. Woodruff, 20, from the 18300 block of W Woodland Terrace in unincorporated Gurnee, was arrested Friday at the same address on a warrant for violating probation in Cook County, and faces a new charge of disorderly conduct. No bail is listed for Woodruff, and his court date is
listed as TBD in Cook County.

Unlawful possession of a controlled substance

Justin D. Baren, 35, from the 7500 block of Jackson Boulevard in Forest Park, was arrested Friday in the 13600 block of W. Irma Lee Court in Green Oaks on accusations of unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Baren’s bail is listed by the sheriff’s office as $30,000 —recognizance — and his court date is listed as June 4.

Warrant arrest: Driving under the influence (DUI)

Luis Mares-Ruis, 36, from the 0-100 block of N. Victory Street in Waukegan, was arrested Friday on Greenwood Avenue and the Amstutz Expressway in Waukegan on a warrant for driving under the influence (DUI), and faces new charges of DUI (alcohol) and aggravated DUI. Mares-Ruis’ bail is listed as $15,000 by the sheriff’s office, and their court date is scheduled for June 4.

Domestic battery

Cesar Martinez-Cordobe, 44, from the 12800 block of Southview Street in unincorporated Waukegan, was arrested Friday at the same address on accusations of domestic battery. His bail is listed by the sheriff’s office as $60,000, and his court date was expected to take place Tuesday.

Warrant arrest: Robbery

Jeffrey D. Howliet, 34, from the 5200 block of W. Washington Boulevard in Chicago, was arrested Friday in the 5500 block of W. Van Buren Street in Chicago on a warrant for robbery. Howliet’s bail is listed by the sheriff’s office as $75,000, and his court date is TBD as of Tuesday.
