Oregon has landed a big offensive piece through the college football transfer portal.

Alabama wide receiver Traeshon Holden committed Sunday to the Ducks, after compiling 331 receiving yards and six touchdowns this season for the Crimson Tide.

Holden made the announcement Sunday afternoon on Twitter, while also wishing a happy birthday to his grandmother.

Holden was a four-star recruit in the 2020 recruiting class.

Holden, from Harbor City, California, had 46 catches for seven touchdowns in two seasons at Alabama.

Troy Franklin is the Ducks’ leading receiver this season with 56 catches for 867 yards and eight touchdowns.

No. 15 Oregon is 9-3 this season, it’s first under head coach Dan Lanning, and they will face North Carolina at 5 p.m. Dec. 28 in the Holiday Bowl.
