More than 20 Oregon restaurants were recognized by Wine Spectator's 2023 Restaurant Awards.

The awards recognize restaurants with interesting, appropriate and a range of wines suited for the cuisine of the establishment. Restaurants are awarded on one of three levels: an award of excellence, best of award of excellence and grand award.

In 2023, seven new restaurants were recognized in the best of award of excellence and award of excellence. The new restaurants that received the award of excellence include: Plateau Fine Dining in Pendleton, Departure Restaurant + Lounge in Portland, Decant in Medford, Bridgewater Bistro in Astoria, and Bos Taurus in Bend. Newly awarded best of award of excellence award restaurants include Okta in McMinnville and Mucca Osteria in Portland.

No Oregon restaurants received the grand award this year.
