Oregon State linebacker Omar Speights has entered the transfer portal, according to a Thursday report by 247Sports.com

Speights was the Beavers’ leading tackler this past season, with 83 tackles in 13 games.

Speights, who was a first-team all-Pac-12 selection, also had eight tackles for a loss, which ranked third on the team.

Speights has spent four seasons at Oregon State, joining the program in 2019. Because of the 2020 pandemic exception, he has one more season of eligibility.

In his Beavers career, Speights had 308 tackles, 25 tackles for a loss, five sacks, three interceptions and three fumbles recovered.

Speights graduated from Crescent Valley High School in Corvallis.

The Beavers landed former Utah linebacker Mason Tufaga through the portal this week.

Tufaga was a four-star recruit out of high school from Hawaii. He did not play in two seasons with Utah.
