Oregon winter storm live updates: Friday Eugene-area delays, closures

The snow has stopped in the Willamette Valley, but it has been replaced by chilly temperatures with lows in the teens and highs in the 30s over the next few days. Wind chill advisories were issued overnight for the Cascade Foothills for wind chill values as low as negative 10.

The cold temperatures have created icy roads and dangerous conditions in some areas. Here are the latest closures and delays for the Eugene area on Friday, Feb. 24:

  • Blachly School District: Two-hour delay.

  • Fern Ridge School District: Two-hour delay.

  • North Bend School District: All campuses closed.

  • LCOG - Senior Meals Site – Veneta: Closed.

  • LCOG - Senior & Disability Services – Florence office: Opening at 10 a.m.
