Oregon winter weather live updates: Wednesday Salem-area school delays, closures

The cold and wet weather pattern continues in the Willamette Valley, bringing snow and freezing conditions.

Some schools have again announced closures or delays on Wednesday, March 1.

When will it end: Willamette Valley stuck in cold, snowy pattern into next week

Here's the latest list:

  • Adelante Mujeres: Two-hour delay. ECE delayed start - opening at 10 a.m. // ECE comienzo demorado. Abierto a las 10 a.m.

  • Amity School District: Two-hour delay, buses on snow routes.

  • Blanchet Catholic School: Classes start at 10 a.m., no early bird classes. Bus schedule: QP- 9:20, St. Joes 9:30, St. Ed's - 9:20, St. Luke's- 9:20, Sac Heart - 9:30.

  • Cascade School District: Two-hour delay, buses on normal routes.

  • Central Electric JATC: Tangent classes on a two-hour delay.

  • Community Action Head Start: Santiam Center morning program canceled.

  • Crosshill Christian: Two-hour delay.

  • Dallas School District: Morning and afternoon buses on snow routes.

  • Dayton School District: Two-hour delay, no morning preschool.

  • McMinnville School District: Morning and afternoon buses on snow routes.

  • Molalla River School District: Morning and afternoon snow routes as follows: Routes 2 and 6 on snow routes, Route 10 no service above Maple Grove Road.

  • North Santiam School District (Stayton): Two-hour delay.

  • OCDC Headstart: Washington County Sites- Enterprise, Linden, Jose Pedro on a two-hour delay. McMinnville on a two-hour delay.

  • Oregon State University-Corvallis: Campus opens at 10 a.m.

  • Queen of Peace Catholic School: Two-hour delay, classes start at 10:15 a.m.

  • Santiam Canyon School District: Two-hour delay.

  • Sheridan School District: Two-hour delay, buses on snow routes.

  • Silver Falls School District: Silver Crest Elementary is closed. Victor Point Elementary is on a two-hour delay. Buses 10 and 32 in the Victor Point area on snow routes with no service on Drift Creek Road. Buses 6, 26, 27, and 33 in the Scotts Mills area on snow routes. For Silverton High School and Silverton Middle School, Victor Point area buses are on a two-hour delay schedule and no bus service in the Silver Crest area.

  • Summit Learning Center: Closed. EC campus is closed. Online classes are on time.

  • Willamina School District: Green bus on snow routes, school starting at regular time.

  • Yamhill Carlton School District: Two-hour delay, morning buses on snow routes.
