Oregon women's basketball announces date of rescheduled game vs. Utah

The Oregon women's basketball team was originally scheduled to play Utah Dec. 31 before COVID-19 protocols within the Utes program postponed the game.

Now the Ducks now know when they will first play the Utes in the first of their two matchups.

Oregon (10-5) will host Utah on Jan. 26 at 11 a.m. in Matthew Knight Arena. Tickets and parking purchased for the game on the original date will be valid.

The game will be televised on the Pac-12 Network.

This will begin a stretch of three consecutive games at home for the Ducks as they will also play UCLA (Jan. 28) and USC (Jan. 30) later that week.

Also, with the game against Utah rescheduled, Oregon will play four games in a span of nine days beginning with Friday's game at Washington (7 p.m.). The Ducks were scheduled to play Washington State but that game has been postponed due to COVID protocols within the Cougars program.

Oregon is coming off a weekend where it defeated two top 10 teams at home. The Ducks first squeaked past No. 7 Arizona in overtime before a dominating victory over No. 9 Connecticut on Monday.

It remains to be seen if Oregon's game against Colorado and Arizona State will be made up. The Ducks were scheduled to play the Buffaloes Jan. 2 and the Sun Devils Jan. 13 before COVID-19 protocols postponed the matchups.
