Oreo unveils new limited-edition cookie: Blackout Cake
An all-chocolate Oreo cookie is headed soon for store shelves from the makers of the iconic cookie. Nabisco on Tuesday unveiled its newest limited edition Oreo cookie flavor. And for lovers of rich and decadent chocolate, this Oreo is for you.
Blackout Cake is the new, limited edition flavor expected to be on store shelves starting in April.
This new cookie, according to Nabisco, is loaded with chocolate in every bite. Between the two classic chocolate-flavored base cookies is a double layer of chocolate. There is a layer of chocolate cake on top of a layer of dark chocolate cake creme filling.
Oreo hinted Monday on its Instagram that a new flavor was on its way. The new Blackout Cake cookie will be on store shelves nationwide on April 3 while supplies last, according to Oreo's Instagram. The suggested retail price for a package of Blackout Cake Oreo cookies is $4.99.
