South Hagerstown High School, 1101 S. Potomac St., Hagerstown will host the Baltimore Orioles Birdland Caravan Fan Rally on Saturday, Jan. 27. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m. and the event will start at 1:30 p.m.
The Major League Baseball team announced locations for their annual Birdland Caravan tour of Maryland on Monday, Jan. 8.
Orioles stars, including top prospect, will be on hand
Pitchers Keegan Akin, Mike Baumann, Nick Vespi and Bruce Zimmermann are scheduled to attend. Infielder Jackson Holliday, MLB.com’s No. 1 ranked prospect and the No. 1 overall pick from the 2022 MLB draft, also is scheduled to attend, according to the team.
The Orioles Fan Rally will feature a Q&A session, a kids press conference for young fans to ask questions and games with the players in attendance.
Promotional items will be given to fans while supplies last.
Admission is free; however, there is limited capacity in the auditorium.

A player photo op is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Tickets are necessary for the photo op and must be purchased in advance. Confirmation of the purchased ticket must be presented at the time of the photo. Proceeds will benefit a local non-profit organization.
Groups may not exceed six persons and only one photo will be allowed due to time constraints.
Photo op tickets cannot be resold or transferred, and autographs will not be permitted.
