Orlando’s Arnold Palmer Hospital receives donation from Winn Dixie parent company

Southeastern Grocers Inc., the parent company of Winn Dixie and home of Fresco y Más, Harveys Supermarket, made a donation of $395,000 to nine children’s hospitals, including Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

The donation was made in recognition of National Cancer Research Month.

If you rounded up your grocery bill recently at one of Southeastern Grocers’ stores in Florida, you helped the company make this donation, along with customers in Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi.

The donations help to support local pediatric care facilities, like Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children with their child focused care and programs.

  • Wolfson Children’s Hospital (Jacksonville)

  • Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida (Fort Myers)

  • Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital (St. Petersburg)

  • Nicklaus Children’s Hospital (Miami)

  • Studer Family Children’s Hospital (Pensacola)

  • Children’s of Alabama (Birmingham, Alabama)

  • Children’s of Mississippi (Gulfport, Mississippi)

  • Ochsner Hospital for Children (New Orleans, Louisiana)

Since 2021, Southeastern Grocers has raised more than $856,900 for its children’s hospital partners.
