Orlando man dead after single-car crash in Orange County, FHP says

An Orlando man is dead after he ran off the roadway Tuesday morning.

Florida Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 3:58 a.m. near N. Pine Hills Road and White Heron Drive.

The driver, a 47-year-old male, was traveling northbound on N. Pine Hills Road when he ran off the roadway.

He struck several objects, including a mailbox, a cable box, a utility pole, a fire hydrant and a fence.

First responders said he died at the scene.

FHP is investigating the crash.
