Orlando SlingShot ride reopens at ICON Park

Visitors can once again experience the Orlando SlingShot ride at ICON Park.

The attraction closed more than a year ago after 14-year-old Tyre Sampson died.

Sampson fell to his death from the Orlando Freefall ride at ICON Park.

The two rides were owned by the same company.

The company said the slingshot attraction meets all appropriate regulatory requirements.

The company said it worked with a national safety company to properly train ride operators.
