Orleans' Bryce Jones claims Times-Mail boys basketball Player of the Week honors for Week 9

Orleans freshman guard Bryce Jones garnered the most votes in the Times-Mail boys basketball Player of the Week poll for Week 9.

Jones, a freshman guard, scored a career-high 14 points while sinking a 3-pointer, and he went 5 for 6 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter to help the Bulldogs pull out a 52-46 PLAC win at Perry Central.

Jones received 68.94 percent (1,141) of the 1,655 votes cast this week to outdistance teammate Ian Hall and BNL teammates Colton Staggs and Colten Leach.
