ORRVILLE − The annual Orrville Boys & Girls Club Kids! Benefit Auction was held at the White Oak Event Center on Saturday, March 25, with more than 300 in attendance and more than $209,500 raised.

There were more than 50 silent and 40 live auction items donated by businesses and individuals, according to a news release. An anonymous donor matched scholarships dollar for dollar, making this year's scholarships the highest received since the auction started featuring scholarships for members.

Scholarships are available for meals, leagues, education and All Access, providing anything needed for KidStop, unlimited tutoring, homework help, field trips, supplies and meals.

The evening began with a video presentation featuring and made by members and staff from the Orrville and Rittman clubs.

The guest speaker was Boys & Girls Club of America President and CEO Jim Clark, who donated $10,000 toward the scholarship portion of the auction as well as providing a scholarship for $3,200 a year up to four years for a graduating senior for college income.

The 2024 auction is planned for Saturday, April 13, at Greystone Event Center in Wooster.
