Osage County man seriously hurt in crash

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — An Overbrook, Kansas, man was seriously injured after a crash in Osage County on Friday.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 2:08 p.m. near the intersection of U.S. Highway 56 and Topeka Avenue.

The man, 86, was driving south on Topeka Ave. when he failed to stop at the stop sign, crashing into a Scranton, Kansas, woman driving west on U.S. 56.

The man was rushed to a local hospital in suspected serious condition. The other driver was not injured.
