Osi Sladek talk about Holocaust survival: 2 p.m. Tuesday, University Memorial Center, Lecture Hall 235, 1669 Euclid Ave., Boulder. CU Boulder's Program in Jewish Studies and the Singer Chair in Jewish History will welcome Osi Sladek, a Holocaust child survivor from Slovakia who lives in Denver, to give testimony about the suffering and survival of him and his parents in the Holocaust in the Slovak-Hungarian-Polish borderlands. Joep Beving at Boulder Theater: 8 p.m. Tuesday, Boulder Theater, 2032 14th St., Boulder. Joep Beving has been one with the piano from an early age. He was forced to end his musical studies at the conservatory and instead continued at university to get a degree in public policy and public administration. However, his love for his instrument never perished. G Flip at Fox Theatre: 9 p.m. Tuesday, The Fox Theatre, 1135 13th St., Boulder. In the last few years, G Flip, born Georgia Flipo, has gone from unknown artist to international talent. Originally a session drummer by trade, their music starts from the drums up. Lyrically, G Flip writes of relationships, heartbreak and acceptance.
