OSP: 17-year-old's car hit with bullets during road rage incident in West Chester Friday

A 17-year-old was shot at in a road rage incident in West Chester Township Friday afternoon, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the shooting happened on southbound Interstate 75 between Tylersville Road and Cincinnati Dayton Road.

A shot was fired from a Chevrolet Equinox, hitting the 17-year-old's Mitsubishi pickup, according to investigators.

The teenager exited at Union Centre Road and called 911 to report the shooting.

Troopers said the 17-year-old was not hit by bullets and did not suffer any injuries.

OSP said the driver of the Equinox did not stop and was later located by troopers and questioned.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, officials said.
