Otero County 2023 local elections: Where to vote and who is on the ballot

Early voting in Otero County opens the second week of October.

In New Mexico, only registered voters may cast a ballot. To check your registration or update your voting information visit the New Mexico Secretary of State's website.

Here is a guide to early voting, the closest site near you and candidates on the 2023 local election ballot.

Early Voting Sites

Otero County Administration located at 1101 New York Avenue in Alamogordo. Early voting is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning Oct. 10 through Nov. 3, Monday through Friday and Saturday voting Nov 4.

Otero County Fair Grounds located at 401 Fairgrounds Road. Early voting is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. beginning Oct. 21 through Nov. 4, Tuesday through Saturday.

Election Day, Nov. 7

  • Sgt. Willie Estrada Memorial Civic Center, 800 E. First Street, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Tay Special Event Center, 2400 North Scenic Drive, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
