OU football adds Seth Littrell, former Sooners fullback and North Texas coach, to staff

NORMAN — OU football coach Brent Venables added another analyst with head coaching experience recently with the addition of former Sooners fullback Seth Littrell as an offensive analyst.

"Great opportunity for us to get better," Venables said on Monday.

Littrell played for the Sooners from 1997-2000, his last two seasons overlapping with Venables' first two seasons as OU's co-defensive coordinator.

"One of my favorite players that I didn't coach, per se," Venables said.

Littrell spent the past seven seasons as head coach at North Texas, posting a record of 44-44.

Venables also announced the hiring of defensive graduate assistant James Skalski.

"Great player at Clemson and someone's who's just plugged right in," Venables said.

Skalski played under Venables at Clemson from 2016-21.
