OU football: Kickoff times announced for Sooners' nonconference games

NORMAN — The first game of the Brent Venables era will kick off at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 3 and be televised on Fox, OU announced Thursday.

The home game against UTEP is one of two Sooners' nonconference games that will be televised on the network, joining the Sept. 17 game at Nebraska, which will kick off at 11 a.m. on the network.

OU's other non-conference game, at home against Kent State, will kick off at 6 p.m. and air on SoonerVision on ESPN Plus.

While the kickoff time for the OU-Texas game Oct. 8 wasn't announced, the game will air on ABC.

OU's game at Iowa State, originally scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 27, has been moved to Saturday, Oct. 29 and will be televised on either Fox or FS1, with kickoff time to be determined.
