OU football player Kori Roberson's home heavily damaged by Norman tornado

NORMAN — A GoFundMe campaign has been created for OU defensive lineman Kori Roberson, whose house was severely damaged by a tornado that went through Norman on Sunday night.

The Tulsa World reported that Roberson's teammate, senior defensive lineman and fellow Houston native Marcus Stripling, created the GoFundMe account Monday. A goal of $15,000 was set, and the campaign has already raised more than half of that amount thanks to over 170 donors.

Numerous OU football players gathered Monday to begin clean-up efforts of Roberson's house, which sustained significant damage to its roof, walls and windows.

Roberson is a redshirt senior defensive lineman who joined OU in 2019 as a four-star prospect. He has recorded 29 tackles (seven for loss) in three seasons with the Sooners.

Roberson lives in one-half of a duplex. The other half is occupied by former OU running back Todd Hudson, who also created a GoFundMe campaign with the same goal of $15,000.
