NORMAN — The Sooners are no longer undefeated this season.
OU suffered a 41-34 loss to Kansas State on Saturday at Owen Field. The Sooners (3-1, 0-1 Big 12) didn't lead at any point in the contest.
Here's a look at the loss through the numbers.

Kansas State has Oklahoma's number
4: Since 2012, Oklahoma has lost only nine home games – four of those were to Kansas State.
14: A 6-yard touchdown pass from Adrian Martinez to Malik Knowles gave Kansas State a 14-0 lead with 5:37 left in the first quarter. The last time OU trailed 14-0 in the first quarter of a game was against Texas on Oct. 9.
56: Dillon Gabriel connected with Theo Wease on a 56-yard touchdown that trimmed the deficit to 14-7 with 2:32 left in the first quarter. This marked the second-longest touchdown pass of the season for Gabriel, topped only by a 58-yarder to Marvin Mims during a Week 2 game against Kent State.
137: Martinez entered Saturday averaging 151 total yards of offense per game this season. He had 137 total yards at the end of the first quarter, and the Wildcats held a 14-7 lead.

OU's offense wakes up
50: Gabriel connected with Marvin Mims on a 50-yard touchdown that tied the game at 14-14 with 12:24 left in the second quarter. He's the first OU quarterback to throw two touchdown passes of at least 50 yards since Spencer Rattler did so in a win over TCU on Oct. 24, 2020.
40: Mims has 15 career receptions of at least 40 yards, which ranks sixth in program history.
20.6: OU averaged 20.6 yards per completion in the first half.
8: The Sooners trailed 24-17 at halftime. OU had gone the past eight games without trailing at the midway point. The last instance came in October 2021, when it trailed Kansas 10-0.

Wildcats keep Sooners at bay
44: Zach Schmit made a 44-yard field goal to trim Kansas State's lead to 24-20 with 11:42 left in the third quarter. It was the redshirt sophomore kicker's longest make of the season.
4: Martinez ran for a 1-yard touchdown that extended Kansas State's lead to 41-27 with 1:58 minutes left in the game. It was his fourth rushing touchdown of the night.
15: David Ugwoegbu recorded 15 tackles on Saturday. It shattered the senior linebacker's previous career-high of seven tackles, which he set in the season opener against UTEP.
3: Three of Michael Turk's five punts resulted in a touchback. Only four of his 35 punts last season resulted in a touchback.
11: OU committed 11 penalties for 87 yards. It marks the most penalties committed by the Sooners since they had 12 penalties for 74 yards in a 37-33 loss to Oklahoma State last November.
2016: OU suffered its first wire-to-wire home loss since it lost to Ohio State in September 2016.
