About the broadcasters

The crew of Gus Johnson (play-by-play), Joel Klatt (analyst) and Jenny Taft (sideline) have the call. Johnson is the lead play-by-play announcer for Fox Sports. He calls college football and college basketball. Johnson previously called play-by-play for CBS Sports from 1996-2011. He was named the 2021 CoSIDA Jake Ward Award recipient, which is given annually to an individual in the media who has made an outstanding contribution to intercollegiate athletics. Klatt was a standout quarterback at Colorado from 2002-2005. He went undrafted in the 2006 NFL Draft and signed a free-agent contract with the New Orleans Saints, but he was released 11 days later. Klatt joined Fox Sports 1 in 2013 and was named to Fox's Big Noon Saturday window in 2015. Taft began her broadcasting career with Fox Sports in 2011. She was announced as the moderator for "Skip and Shannon: Undisputed" in 2018 and held the role until earlier this year.
