The No. 6 OU football team will take on the Big Ten's Nebraska Cornhuskers at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Neb.
The Oklahoma Sooners (2-0) enter the game coming off a 33-3 win against Kent State Sept. 10.

After struggling to get going offensively in the first half, OU used an explosive third quarter to pull away from Kent State.
Starting OU quarterback Dillon Gabriel ended the game 21 of 28 for 296 yards, three touchdowns, no interceptions and a quarterback rating of 199.2.

In their previous game, Nebraska (1-2) lost to Georgia Southern 45-42 Sept. 10. Scott Frost was fired as head coach the next day. Mickey Joseph will serve as the Cornhuskers' interim head coach.

Marcus Major scores a TD for OU, Sooners up 21-7
Marcus Major goes virtually untouched up the middle for a 1-yard touchdown run, and OU is up 21-7 with 14:48 on the clock in the second quarter.
