Three things to know about OU vs. Nebraska
• Despite shooting 0-for-10 from deep against South Alabama, Tanner Groves has been a force down low this season. He ranks 33rd in the nation in 2-point field goal percentage (81.2%) and fifth in the nation in defensive rebound percentage (35.3%). He also already boasts six blocks after only recording 14 blocks last season.
• Nebraska excels at getting second-chance opportunities. The Cornhuskers rank 33rd in the nation in offensive rebound percentage (36.4%), and they're averaging 11.8 second-chance points per game. That strength will be tested against the Sooners, who rank 13th in the nation in opposing offensive rebound percentage (18.5%).
• Nebraska is led by Sam Griesel, a 6-foot-7 guard who is averaging 13.3 points, 6 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game this season. The North Dakota State transfer presents a problem for opposing teams due to his size, strength and decision making.
