Outdoor Dining Opens In Bridgewater: Here's Where To Eat

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — After months of being closed, Bridgewater residents can go out to a local restaurant as outdoor dining areas reopened on Monday after Gov. Phil Murphy eased restrictions amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Many area restaurants are expanding their outdoor dining areas to accommodate for the ability to serve more customers.

Here's a look at restaurants in and around Bridgewater that will be opening their outdoor dining rooms:

  • 22 West Tap & Grill, 1601 Route 22 West: Open Wednesday to Sunday from noon to 8 p.m. Call 732-627-5012

  • Alfonso's Trattoria, 99 W Main St, Somerville: Call 908-526-0616.

  • Bridgewater Diner, 1244 Route 22: Call 908-725-8118

  • Chimney Rock Inn, 800 Thompson Ave.: Open at all three of their locations, in Bridgewater, Flemington and Gillette, with seating for about 40 to 50 people at a time. In addition to following all of the guidelines set forth by the CDC and the health department, the inn offers: contactless order and pay option where guests can view the menu and pay their bill. Regular food and bar menu will be available upon reopening. An online waitlist will be the only way for customers to secure their spot in line, without having to physically stand in line. Guests will wait in there car upon arrival and we will notify them when their table is ready.

  • Mama Rosinas, 350 E. Main St.: Open Monday to Friday 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday noon to 10 p.m. They have a full menu and cocktails. Call 732-805-3377.

  • Mannion’s Pub and Restaurant, 150 West Main St., Somerville: Open Monday to Sunday 4 to 9 p.m. Call 908-203-0700.

  • Top O Th Hill Tavern, 1182 Route 202/206: Call 908-658-4256.
