Canaan Firemen's group sets date for wild game dinner, auction

CRESTON − The Canaan Township Firemen’s Benefits Association will hold its annual wild game dinner and auction on Saturday, March 18, at Ken Gray’s Auction Barn, 12472 Oller Road, Creston. Doors open at 4 p.m. with dinner (including venison and alligator) starting at 5 p.m. Raffle tickets, meal and beer are included in the $45 price. For tickets or more information, call 330-435-4222.

Spring still shoots

SHREVE − Spring Still shoots are held at the Shreve Farmer's Sportsman Club, 430 Township Road 513, Shreve, running every Sunday through April 30, except for Easter. Shoots begin at noon with registration starting around 11:30 a.m. The club shoots shot, .22 and slug. Try for a chance to win a variety of meat and cash prizes. Whitetail Heritage of Ohio banquet is March 18

MOUNT HOPE − Whitetail Heritage of Ohio will hold its annual fundraiser banquet Saturday, March 18, at the Mount Hope Event Center. Doors open at 2:30 p.m., with the progressive dinner 4-7 p.m.

Tables and raffle tickets can be purchased at www.whitetailheritageofohio.net. Early bird raffle begins at 5:30 p.m., with drawings every 15 minutes. The top raffle prize is a 2023 Kawasaki Mule Pro FXT.

Safari Club International banquet

WOOSTER − The Northern Ohio chapter of Safari Club International will hold its annual fundraiser banquet Saturday at the Greystone Event Center, 50 Riffle Road, Wooster. The silent auction runs 3-6:30 p.m., with an open bar 4-9:30 p.m. and buffet dinner 6-7:30 p.m., followed by the live auction 7:30-10 p.m.

Baltic Fisherman's swap meet is March 18
