"Outer Banks" season 3 is officially on Netflix!

The popular teen drama, created by Josh and Jonas Pate and Shannon Burke, follows a group of teenagers, aka the Pogues, who embark on a quest to find lost treasure in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The series stars Chase Stokes (John B.), Madelyn Cline (Sarah Cameron), Madison Bailey (Kiara), Jonathan Daviss (Pope), Rudy Pankow (JJ) and one Greater Cincinnati actor.

That's right. Austin North, who plays Topper Thornton, a Kook and Sara Cameron's ex-boyfriend, was born in the Queen City.

Austin North was born in Cincinnati

North was born July 30, 1996, in Cincinnati, Ohio. His family lived in the Maineville area and went to church in Lebanon. North also briefly attended Lebanon Christian School before he and his family moved to Atlanta, Georgia, in 2006.

He was a Disney Channel star

Before he became a Kook, North was a Disney Channel star. He was discovered in a talent showcase at the age of 12. When he was 17, the young actor landed his first leading role in Disney Channel's "I Didn't Do It," which premiered in 2014.

He also appeared on Disney's "A.N.T. Farm," "Kickin' It" on Disney XD, Nickelodeon's "See Dad Run" and ABC's "General Hospital."

Austin North plays the drums

North told She Knows in 2014 that the best gift he ever received was a drum set from his grandmother. His sister is a singer

North isn't the only star in his family.

His sister, Loren North, is a singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles, California. Her 2017 single "Bad Timing" has been streamed over 4 million times on Spotify. Other popular songs from Loren include "Feel It Out," "Chin Up" and "In Too Deep."

'Charlie, Last Name Wilson' is Austin North's favorite song

North was dared to eat three crackers and sing his favorite song during a game of truth or dare with Teen Vogue.

It was no surprise to his costars when he started singing a rendition of "Charlie, Last Name Wilson" by Charlie Wilson, former lead singer of the Gap Band. His fellow cast members even joined in on the impromptu acapella session.

His favorite snack is root beer

In an episode of "Snacked," a series in which celebrities share their most beloved snacks and candies, North revealed his favorite treat is root beer.

"This is my childhood drink," he said.

Austin North is part Kook, part Pogue in real life

In an interview with ET Canada, North and his "Outer Banks" costar Drew Starkey (Rafe Cameron) were asked if they are Pogue or Kook in real life. North said his Ohio upbringing, which included playing outdoors and riding four-wheelers, represents his Pogue side. But his love for cars represents his Kook side.

"A little bit of both," the actors agreed.
