Outfits BTS Wore to the 2019 Grammy Awards Will Be on Display in the Grammy Museum

The Korean septet will be part of the “On The Red Carpet" exhibition.

BTS — and all their numerous record-breaking accomplishments — already occupy a place in the hearts of fans and music history. But now, one important (and stylish) aspect of their career has earned a rightful place in a museum.

Fans already know and love BTS for their every stylish moment, and after the K-Pop supergroup made an impression with their 2019 Grammys outfits, the Recording Academy announced it’ll soon be including the suits in its museum.

Their matching suits, which were designed by Korean designers JayBaek Couture and Kim Seo Ryong, will be part of the GRAMMY Museum’s “On The Red Carpet Presented By Delta” exhibit — an ongoing space at the L.A. museum that showcases an overview of the Awards’ red-carpet history and that the septet actually visited last year.

BTS’s iconic tuxedos will be featured alongside other outfits from artists and celebrities including Rihanna, Michelle Obama, Amy Winehouse, and Kanye West in a “refreshed” iteration of the exhibit, which is currently closed to the public. Information and tickets about the revamped exhibit will be posted online soon but it is reportedly slated to remain open until the Spring.

It's likely that BTS fans will be eager to get a glimpse of the suits for themselves, as social media went wild for the outfits when the group wore them back in February. Although BTS didn't win an award that night, the seven members have continually made history and fans had acknowledged that their work has paved the way for future K-Pop acts. This year’s GRAMMYs nominations will be announced on November 20 and, especially after this announcement, ARMYs are hoping the Bangtan Boys will score a few.
