See the Cover of Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish's New Book Clanlands
When Sam Heughan and his Outlander co-star Graham McTavish first announced their "Clanlands" project, it was a podcast focused on the history, culture, and landscape of Scotland. But the endeavor has since evolved into a travel show called Men in Kilts and a new book, which retains that original Clanlands name.

Clanlands will focus on the actors' road trip through Scotland.
Much like the original plan for the podcast, the book will highlight Scotland's history, culture, and clans while also delving into Heughan and McTavish's friendship, careers, their roles on Outlander, and more. Clanlands will also include what sound like never-before-published photos of the actors, and maps, so you can recreate their journey if you so choose—once it's safe to travel again, that is.
Still not intrigued? McTavish playfully described the work as a "confessional meets a road trip meets a death-defying experience." We're in.

They wrote it during lockdown.
During the above Instagram conversations, both men called the book a "miracle," and shared that they worked on the story for three to four months, as the world locked down due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Heughan is keeping busy these days.
In addition to Clanlands and Men in Kilts with McTavish, Heughan is also working on season six of Outlander, though production has been delayed because of COVID-19, and he also recently launched a whisky brand called Sassenach Spirits.
