Outlander's Sophie Skelton teases season 7 "rollercoaster ride"

Outlander fans will be strapped into a "rollercoaster ride" during season 7.
This insight came from Brianna Randall star Sophie Skelton in a recent interview with Radio Times, who was asked if there's some shocking twists in store.
"Definitely. That's one thing I think we're really priding ourselves on now for Outlander and really leaning into it - the storylines aren't necessarily the expected ones," she responded.

"So whether you've read the books or not, you're all on a level playing field. We're gonna play with your emotions and take you on a bit of rollercoaster ride. So everyone's in the same boat.
"You're in for a rough ride," Skelton went on to promise.
This comes after fellow Outlander favourite Caitriona Balfe reflected on the time-travelling period epic's impending conclusion with season 8.
"It's been amazing," she told the same publication. "It's really strange thinking that this time next year or whatever, it'll be finished and that'll be it, it'll be a chapter done in my life. I'm going to definitely struggle with that because it's been so great. It'll be sad to say goodbye to it.

"I think, in some ways, I feel like we've said as much as we can say with these characters and we've sort of brought them to this point in their lives where it feels like it's the right time to say goodbye to them," Balfe admitted.
"I think having season 8 will give us a real opportunity to sort of finish it properly. But at the same time, it's going be so sad."
Outlander season 7 part 1 is now airing on Starz in the US, and streams on Lionsgate+ in the UK.
