Over 60 Migrants Drown in Shipwreck Off Libya Coast: IOM
At least 61 migrants drowned off the coast of Libya, the International Organization for Migration said in a post. The ship carried around 86 people, among them women and children, the agency said citing survivors. It initially set off from the coast of Zwara, Libya. “The central Mediterranean continues to be one of the world’s most dangerous migration routes,” the agency said.
