Over 70% Of Adults In All New England States Have Received At Least 1 COVID Vaccine Shot

Andy Slavitt, the White House Senior Advisor for COVID Response, tweeted Saturday that Rhode Island has now joined the five other New England states.

- A senior COVID advisor at the White House says all of the New England states now have given 70% of their adult population at least one dose. Andy Slavitt congratulated Rhode Island for passing that milestone today. The six New England states plus Hawaii and New Jersey make up the eight states that are now vaccinated at 70%. President Biden's goal is to get 70% of adults nationwide vaccinated by the 4th of July.
