Overnight lane closures in Saline County to continue throughout February

SALINE COUNTY, Ark. – Overnight lane closures on Interstate 30 in Saline County are expected to continue through February, according to officials with the Arkansas Department of Transportation.

ARDOT crews will be working in the east and westbound lanes between Highway 70 (Exit 111) and Sevier Street in Benton (Exit 116) to widen I-30 to three lanes in each direction, which will require periodic overnight lane closures.

ARDOT expects tens of millions in penalties for I-30 contractor

During the construction, eastbound or westbound traffic will be reduced to one open lane starting at 9 p.m. and will reopen no later than 6 a.m. the next morning.

Traffic will be controlled with construction barrels and signs, along with assistance from the Arkansas Highway Police.
