A large, green banner reading "OVERTURN ROE? HELL NO!" was unfurled during Friday night's game between the Guardians and Oakland A's at Progressive Field.

The banner was displayed during the top of the seventh inning. It was unfurled for a few moments before being removed from view. The banner appeared behind home plate along the stadium's upper deck.

Similar banners have appeared at sporting events around the country in recent weeks in response to a reported leaked draft opinion from the U.S. Supreme Court that, if accurate, would overturn Roe v. Wade, the 1973 court decision that said the constitution provides federal protection of abortion rights.

The reported leak of the draft opinion sparked strong responses and a flurry of questions surrounding the landmark 1973 decision.
