OVI checkpoint to be held in Butler County tonight

The Ohio State Highway Patrol announced two OVI checkpoints will be held tonight in the city of Hamilton.

Crews will be located southbound on Pleasant Avenue (SR 127) at Hayes Avenue from 10:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m.

From 11:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m. additional crews will be holding a checkpoint at northbound Pleasant Avenue at Symmes Road.

We will update this story once we learn the results of the checkpoints.

The Butler County OVI Task Force is funded by the United States Department of Transportation, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, and the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
