A performance powerhouse to be reckoned with.

There’s no denying that the C6 Corvette is a performance-oriented car with an aggressive stance and super sleek body lines. That especially rings true with this stealthy black-on-black 2008 Chevrolet Corvette 427 Z06 offered here by GR Auto Gallery. Less than 42,000 miles have accumulated on the ticker.

The C6 platform redesign brought back exposed headlights, the first time since 1962. In addition, the redesigned Corvette was given a plethora of suspension upgrades and a redesigned body. The Z06 was reintroduced in 2006, and it weighed less than all other Corvette models giving it an agile edge.

Another thing the Z06 was given was a new 7.0-liter LS7 V8 engine, a small block with the largest displacement ever made, and it was GM’s most powerful naturally aspirated engine stuffed inside a production car. From the factory, the LS7 was rated at 505-horsepower, but this 427cui Z06 has plenty of aftermarket upgrades adding to the already potent motor. All of that power is shifted to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission. About $23,000 was spent on aftermarket modifications, and another $6,700 of factory options. It features upgraded heads, camshaft, intake, and exhaust. The sale of this car comes with extensive documentation of work that was performed by Baker engineering.

The glossy black paint is in fantastic condition, and Z06 wheels further complement its aesthetics. The black theme continues inside along with creature comforts aplenty. Equipped with the 2LZ equipment option, just the audio setup consists of a 6-disc changer, MP3 player, and Bose Premium 7-speaker system. Heated seats are a saving grace in the winter along with memorized seating among other things. Navigation with a large screen is embedded in the dash.

If you’re looking for a head-turning powerhouse, then this 2008 Chevy Corvette 427 Z06 may be exactly what you’re looking for. Price is listed at $42,900, so check out GR Auto Gallery and make an offer on this bad boy.
