Anastasia Nosova, the owner of a dog kennel who was severely injured in a massive Russian missile attack on the Ukrainian capital on Feb. 7, has died in Kyiv, according to a Feb. 14 post on Facebook.

Doctors fought for her life for a week, but failed to save her.

"Anastasia Nosova died in the hospital - the 39-year-old woman was one of the victims of a Russian strike on the Holosiivskyi district of the capital on Feb. 7,” the Facebook post says.

“On the day of the attack, 6 of Nastya's dogs died in her apartment... Doctors fought for her life for a week. Unfortunately, her injuries were too severe... Look at the bright people Russian terrorists are killing! A woman who brought light and love to animals! It is indescribably painful. May Nastya's memory be blessed. Our condolences to her family and friends..."

Earlier, Anastasia's friend Tatiana Kopytova said that a Russian missile directly hit her apartment. The room where her dogs lived burned.

"Nastya is in the hospital with a head injury and numerous wounds.”

“She is in a critical condition in the operating room. She has a head injury with hematomas, a shrapnel fragment in her chest, and it is known that her limbs are cut and broken," she wrote after the missile attack.

On Feb. 14, Tatiana also confirmed on her Facebook page that Anastasia passed away.
