The Cookie Jar Eatery, which has been in business in Sioux Falls for 50 years, is for sale, the owners announced Tuesday.

The current owners, Glen and Elaine Koch have overseen the business for the past 20 years and its been family owned since 2002. The Cookie Jar Eatery is located inside the Shriver's building in downtown Sioux Falls – the third location the business has called home.

While the business is for sale, they aren't planning on closing the doors just yet, and "would love to see the tradition of (the) business continue for another 50 years in Sioux Falls."

"While we seek out a buyer for The Cookie Jar, our plan is to remain open for normal business," according to a news release issued by the owners.
