‘Oxygen Bar’ sells puff of fresh air to pollution-hit Delhi

With the air quality currently sitting at 'severe' levels -- New Delhi's oxygen bar is the place to be for residents escaping the smog.

Although its effects are unproven, middle-aged and elderly residents were heading to 'Oxygen bar', that is offering the city a 15-minute session to inhale an cocktail of oxygen in different flavours, for around $7.

"When I checked recently, the air quality index was showing at around 642, which is extremely dangerous for your health. This session helps a lot in that. It detoxifies the body and reduces the impact of pollution and all the carbon you are inhaling. It also energises the body and makes you feel relaxed."

Government guidelines suggest that the 'severe' air quality level seriously impacts those with existing diseases and also affects healthy people.
